For custom manufacturing, quality is not only a final inspection step. It starts with understanding the drawing correctly, confirming critical requirements before production, monitoring important features during manufacturing, and checking finished parts before delivery.

Quality Assurance Process

1. Drawing & Requirement Review

Before production, we review the available engineering information, including:

If an important requirement is unclear or may affect manufacturing, we prefer to clarify it before production rather than make assumptions.

2. Material & Production Confirmation

Material grade, manufacturing process and important project requirements are confirmed according to the drawing and quotation.

For projects with specific material documentation or special requirements, these should be identified before production.

3. In-Process Quality Control

Important dimensions and manufacturing features may be checked during production to identify potential issues before the parts are completed.

The inspection method depends on the part and project requirements.

4. Final Inspection

Finished parts are checked against the agreed drawing and specifications before shipment. Inspection reports or additional documentation can be discussed when required.

We select the inspection method according to the tolerance, geometry and function of the component rather than applying the same inspection method to every part.

DFM Review Before Production

Some designs can be manufactured exactly as drawn but may create unnecessary cost, machining difficulty or production risk.

When appropriate, we can review the design from a manufacturing perspective and identify issues such as:

Excessively tight tolerances Thin walls Deep pockets or cavities Difficult tool access Small internal radii Bend limitations Welding access Moldability Material selection Surface finishing considerations

DFM suggestions are intended to improve manufacturability and reduce manufacturing risk early. No design change should be made without customer approval.
